    The mermaids followed him to his house. Then they beat him every day for three days until he had to give the cloaks in the end.
    Then the mermaids cleared down to the river and disappeared and a few days after three people died

    There is a fort in Ballykissane with one ring around it. One day there were men working in a field near by and that evening after working, the men put the spades and shovels into the fort and the next morning came for the spades and shovels they were not there at all and it is supposed that the fairies took them
