  1. There is a hill in Meanus near Killorglin which has a very peculiar shape like that of a cup turned upside down. It is called Cnocán Árd Dearg, and it is said that a woman carried it in her apron from Currens, and let it fall there. There is a hole in Currens from where it is said the hill was taken.
