    6. If you had rheumatics if you boiled cabbage until it gets yellow and rubbed to the place that is sore will cure it.
    7. Boiled milk and onions is good for a cold.
    8. If you had a swelled jaw put bran into a frying-pan and put it over the fire for a while; then put it into a cloth and put it up to your jaw - the swelling would go down.
