  2. There was once an old man and they thought he was very poor. He had a walking-cane and every place he went he brought the cane with him. When he was dying, he told them to bury the cane with him. When they were putting the cane into the coffin it was too big, so they cut a bit off it and a big heap of gold and silver fell out
