    About two or three hundred years ago, an old woman was supposed to get some earth for her garden out of Neil's farm.

    About two or three hundred years ago, an old woman was supposed to get some earth for her garden out of Neil's farm.
    In taking the earth she took an acre of land in her apron and she was supposed to be taken to America with the acre of land in her apron. The hole left got the name "Poll-Dearg".
