  1. Long ago people used spin flax here.
    They used to gather the flax and bring it to the bog, and put it in a wet boggy place. After a while, they would go and see when it was soft enough then they would take it up and spread it out in a field and bleach it. Then they would make it up into sheaves and put it into put it over the fire to harden.
    Then they kept turning it until it was all hard enough. They then took shears from the fire and they pulled each all out, and they kept pulling it it was soft
