  1. People get married now in the Parish Church, but during the penal days people got married in a house in the district where people lived.
    It is a custom around this place when a pair are getting married that they should not come out of the same door of the church. The bride is supposed to come out of one door, and the bridegroom should come out of another door.
    It was a custom around here the first Sunday after a pair got married, that they should not go to Mass
