  1. Once upon a time four brothers lived together. They were rich and happy, but one day a storm swept over the land and their barns and houses were blown down, and their cattle were killed.
    There lived a very wise man in that place so the four brothers went to him and told him of their bad luck. He gave them each a magic peach. He told them to put them on their heads and wherever the peaches would fall to dig in that place.
    When they had gone a mile one peach fell. Its owner dug the ground and found copper. A few minutes after the second man's peach fell. He found silver. After the third man's peach fell. He found gold. Then the fourth man's peach fell and he would find diamonds but it was iron he got instead. He was sad because he did not know which was
