  2. Once upon a time there lived a little boy. His father was dead and his mother was living. They were very poor. They had one cow and they had to sell her to pay the rent. When the little boy was going to the fair he met a fairy. The fairy had a bag of green plants. He told the little boy to give him the cow for the bag of plants.
    The boy did so and the fairy told him to put the bag outside the kitchen window and that in the morning they would be up to the sky. When the little boy went home his mother beat him as he did not get money
