    Catair Conrai is situated on the Slieve Mish mountains in Co Kerry. In olden times this was one of the strongholds of Fionn and his men.
    Fionn had a cow-herder named Diarmuid o [?]Duin and he was a very strong man.
    One day he was minding cows in a place called Aragleann at the top of Ballyarkane river when he saw a giant twice as big as himself coming towards him.
    This giant told Diarmuid that his name was Dara Donn and that he came to carry of that white bull which as in the middle of the cows.
    Diarmuid said he would not. Then the giant went towards the bull and caught him by one of the horns.
    Diarmuid caught him by the other horn and they began pulling with all their until they had two halves made of him.
