  1. The Pride of Lougher
    On my way to Dingle
    on the road to Annascaul
    I met three men condoleing
Saying what will we do atall
For the loss of that young fair maid
    Who did forsake us all
    He dwelling place is Lougher
    Three mils from Annascaul
Says the farmer's son I have ten cows
And grass for them no doubt
My rent is paid up to the date
    To keep the landlord out
Like wise my sheep and horses
    And servants at my call
To wait on the pride of Lougher
    Three miles from Annascaul
