There is a field above in Ballinclare.

There is a field above in Ballinclare. A man sowed potatoes in it and that year all his cattle died. It is said that it was a grave yard long ago and that there are giants buried there.
    it is named Fatha.

There was an old woman living on the side of a hill long ago. She had two cows and she had a charm for butter. She used to fill four firkins of butter every year. The way she had the charm was if she would not fill the firkins the first time she would take the butter again and mix it with water and salt and make it big and she would put the butter into the firkins and fill them. She had to pay six pounds rent every year. She would not pay it until she would sell two firkins of butter. The landlord would not wait till she would sell the butter so he took away her two cows.
