  1. There is a Holy Well about two hundred yards from Ballyheigue village. It is very nice to look at it. It is called "Lady's Well".
    It is generally visited by people who suffer from disease, but especially by those who have sore eyes.
    There is a very nice Grotto built near the Well. The Parish priest got the Grotto built and he put a statue there too. Then he put a cement wall around it.
    Then when the new priest came he put a gravel path all round the Grotto.
    On the eight of September there was Mass said there by the Parish priest. Many people go paying rounds there. This is how around is
