  1. There was a man there long ago. He lived in Causeway. He went to America. He had a dream there, that there was gold where the Blessed Well now is.
    He came home and he found out nine people of one name: "nine Diggin's". He told them to go in the middle of the night.They went to the place where the gold was. He told them that one of them should die. One said that he was willing to die because he was not married. They went digging. Soon they were surrounded by dogs, and they got afraid, and went away, and the American was never seen again.
