  1. These are some of the cures taken down at random for various diseases.
    1. The Green Broom draw the leave like tea leaves drink the water - cure for the kidneys.
    2. Rib Grass or Slanlus cures bleeding press the leaves against the cut.
    3. Speedwell or bright eye draw leaves drink water this is a cure for the jaundice.
    4. Cumfrey is a weed like the carrott it is used for a sprain. Pound the root into pulp moisten it a little with cold water and apply it to the foot it also reduces the swelling in the foot.
    5. A Spiders Web was used to stop bleeding. If a person got a severe cut in finger or hand the spiders web was placed on the cut and it is said the bleeding stopped immediately.
    6. The tansy - a cure for red water in cattle.
