  1. One night as a man named Pota Mc. Keogh was breaking stones at the lime kiln to keep it burning, he heard a great noise in an old lime kiln in a neighbours field near by. He started and his dog Rory began to bark. He heard something running and lo and behold!! he saw a pack of hounds coming towards him out of the lime kiln and also a man on horse back. The hounds were all the same colour, a silver grey and the horse was the same colour. There was a silver bridle in his mouth and silver
