    "Bailiffs".
This Walsh family were very poor and were unable to pay the "Rent" and on that account they were evicted and put out on the road. Their house and land are taken over by the "Lundy" family.
From that year onwards no evictions took place in the towns land of Tubberroddy.
About thirty years ago the land of Tubberroddy was purchased by the Land Commission and that abolished Landlordism in Ireland.
