    Mr Mc. Carrick was landlord of a District called Lillasar. Every six months Lord Hardlic came to Tubberroddy to collect the rent. He lodged in "barns" Lodge which is now taken over by a family named "Frizzells". This lodge was specially set aside for that purpose.
    It was the custom of the inhabitants to gather together in this Lodge twice every year where Mr Hardlic's agents collected the rent.
    Evictions were few under Lord Hardlics rule but occassionally they occured. According to the old Sean-caoide there was one eviction in Tubberroddy District during Lord Hard;ics time. This eviction was unjust. It was a Walsh family who were evicted by Lord Hardlic's
