  1. The Tubberroddy Sean-caioide says that Landlordism first began in the year 1609 when the English and Scotch took the unfortunate Irish in as tenants after the Plantation of Ulster.
    About a half Century ago there happened to be Landlords in the townsland of Tubberroddy. One of those Landlord's son is living in Cluan-barry. His name was Lord Mc. Carrick. The other Landlords name was Lord Hardlic a native of Co. Roscommon.
    Although LOrd Hardlic was not a native of Tubberroddy he was our Landlord
