  1. The Local Landlord
The name of the landlord who was in my district last was Colonel Wingfield. he was a good man. He built houses for some of his tenants. he came from England. In religion Colonel WIngfield was a protestant. He did not punish his tenants but he was very kind to them. At the time Colonel Wingfield was in this district the rent was ten pounds, - just four times as much as it is now. He used to send an agent named Kincaid round to collect the rents. The tenants had to obey the Landlord's rules. He did not give very bad treatment to his tenants.
