  1. Father Jordan of Curry was comin on a sick call to Henry Irwin of Carrowreagh Cooper. When he was comin' near the house the horse bolted and threw him out of the saddle and galloped home. He took out his prayer book and put on his stole and started praying and he had hard work to get to the house. There was never anything seen there afterwards.
