- The hunt was first started by O Hara. He hunted over his tenants land. The Dorrans the Chuffs the Thomsons and Coopers, then rode in the hunt. The people get nothing for letting the hunt across their land but the people let them for the sport of watching them. If any animal is hurted belonging to the people by the hunt the owner of the hounds has to pay for it. It hunts through Claragh, Templehouse, Killoran, Carrowrile, Rinbane and Killvarnet. When it is a Killoran hunt they start in Killoran and they hunt through all their hunting grounds. The hunt starts at Templhouse cross-roads when its a Templehouse hunt. The Claragh hunt starts in Claragh at O Dowd's. The Killvarnet hunt starts in Killvarnet. When its a Carrowrile hunt it starts at Carrowrile cross-roads. If the hunt com(c)es to a fence which they do not make a gap in it but it goes to a place where they can get out in. They jump up on a bank when they are crossing a fence.
