  1. To the right of the main road passing through Masshill towards Dromore West there is a huge building known as "Cooper's Lodge". It is situated in the townland of Croagh by the road-side. Cooper was an Englishman and his lodge was haunted.
    One night Cooper was in bed when he heard a horse galloping round the house with two dogs after him. When the horse would come to the window of his room he would stand and neigh. Cooper thought it was his own horse that was loose. He got up and could not see anything. He began to curse the horse. When the horse came to the window he drove his head through it and
