  1. The Enchanted Castle of the Tullyvilla Lakes
    One day two men of the O'Dowds, Thomas and Padraig, were making whiskey out at the Tullyvilla Lakes. It was one night during the month of June. When it was breaking day Padraig sent Thomas to a height to have a view of Cloonacool to see if there were any police coming. He went to a little height near the larger lake and then he looked down at the old castle on the shore. It was lit up with brilliant lights. He also heard music coming from that direction and soon after four lovely ladies emerged from it. They walked across to the lake and danced the four hand reel on the waters. After a while the lights went out
