    I live in Masshill. It is my birth place and now I am going to school in it.
    There was fame and reputation on this place in the Penal days when priest and people met in secret for celebration of the Holy Mass.
    Also almost everybody knows the rock on which mass was offered. It is situated on a hillside to the left of the road which leads from Tubbercurry to Dromore West.
    A few years ago a fine statue of St Patrick was erected on the Mass Rock.
    People visit it often during the year and especially on St Patrick’s day.
    It was on that account that this place got the name Masshill
    It is a glen situated
