  1. Superstitious Stories 24/9/38
    One day a woman dressed in white came into a woman in Dunmaden and asked her for a drink of milk. The woman said she had no milk to give her. Then the fairy told her where she had the milk and the woman got afraid and gave it to her. As soon as she had the milk drank she went out and when the woman looked she had disappeared and never saw her from that on.
    One night a woman from Kathglass threw out water after midnight and it all came back again in her face. Then she saw a strange woman coming in.
    Then the woman said to her "never throw water out after twelve o' clock again" and then she went out.
