  1. James Glamor Dunowla was the champion dancer of the district. Every Sunday a dancing competition was held at Hanley corner(cross-rads west of Seafield N.S.). A cake was the prize received by the best dancer. James who was known as "The Pride of Dunowla" always won the cake. Hence the popular saying "he takes the cake" meaning he excels. Miss Kivlehan's mother was second best dancer but never succeeded in "taking the cake".
