  1. The snipe is a brown bird with a long beak. She builds her nest in the bog. The nest is made of heeb. She lays three brown eggs. She sits on them three weeks. When a snipe is screaming it is a sign of good weather. The snipe comes to wells when frost is near. The birds are supposed to talk to each other.
