  1. A custom in my district is when the bride and the bride groom come out of the church door the people throw rice on them. The bride carries a boquet of flowers and she is dressed either in blue or white. Some people believe in the old rhyme:- Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth, Wednesday the best day of all. Thursday for losses, Friday for crosses and Saturday no luck at all.
