    A big farmer offered a handsome salary to a man who would help him on the farm, teach his wife to speak Latin & his cat to teach Irish. After some time a boy came to him & offered to do what he asked.
    He was not long in his new employment till he found out that the farmer's wife was 'carrying on' with a young man in the district in the absence of his husband. When the farmer & he went out to work this young man used
