    sheet. When he had pulled the sheet from under the woman he rolled it up, hopped out of the bed and away. Five minutes later the landlord came in after burying the corpse. He was cold and told his wife he was. She asked him what made him cold and only leaving the bed five minutes earlier. Now the landlord realised that Jack had codded him again. He looked for the sheet and sure enough it was gone. He told his wife the sheet was gone. She said they would be shamed if the people heard of the incident and the only way out of the mess was to sell out. The landlord put up the place for sale and Jack bought it. He brought his mother and live there and they lived happily ever after.
