    was called and when he came with her to the house - everything was there undisturbed & no noise was to be heard. This and several similar incidents occurred for months. One night about twenty neighbours were visiting in the house and all lost the power of speech for twenty minutes - They could look and see each other but could neither speak nor move.
    Micky Walsh and his wife were invited one night to a wedding - They were very anxious to go but could get no one to mind the house as all the neighbours had heard about the presence of the ghost in the house. On the day of the wedding who should come in to them but 'a shuler' called Máirtín Devaney. Mairtín, was a leath-phléice & was a customary visitor in that district.
