  1. Michael Browne, my uncle, was a very strong man in his youth. Once he made a bet with a guard in Dromore, that he would lift an axle of a cart and the metal box in one hand and a half hundred weight in the other. So he straighted the axle with the metal box on top of it, with his left hand and the half hundred weight in the right hand and won the bet. The Guard tried to do the same thing but he failed.
