- Long a go there lived a woman in Rathlee. She brought her churn to the well to wash and scrub it. She used a bunch of heather as a scrubbing brush. She forgot to bring her brush back with her and another woman picked it up and kept it. The woman who lost her brush never had a good churning after that. She could never get butter off her milk and the woman who found the brush always had twice the usual quantity of butter from her milk.
