    The men who did come set to work with their spades and shovels and cut a big drain leading to the Cabra river and in that way the lake was drained.
    One night before the lake became dry a terrible noise and whistling was heard at the hill and next morning people sat a beaten down track leading from the lake and knew that the monster was gone.
