  1. How the people lived long ago.
    Long ago the people were much stronger than at present day. They used to get up at about 6 o'clock and go out working. They used to come in again at about 9 0'clock and eat some Indian meal porridge and buttermilk on it.
    Then they used to go out again and come in for dinner at about 3 o'clock. They used to have plenty of fish and potatoes. Then they used to have their supper at about 10 o'clock. The people sowed about 3 or 4 acres of land.
