  1. The tailors long ago were not like the tailors nowadays. The tailors long ago had to go around to the houses to make suits, and the people used to keep the material themselves and the tailor used to stay in the house till he had the suits finished. They used to make baíníns for the men of white flannel, which was made in their own homes from the wool of the sheep. They used to bind the sleeves, necks, and fronts with coloured braid.
