    Oh Brother dear excuse me for delaying to write so long. But now I'm at my leisure I will compose a song while here amongst this class and race. Great changes I have seen Since I left my dear old birthplace called Charming Beencuneen.

    'Twas at the fair of Causeway many a pleasant day I spent. But now that I'm far away I must be quite content. It being in April '68, on board the European That I bade farewell to Causeway and likewise to Beencuneen.

    I've roamed along by that spring well, that runs Likewise round Poll s Casl, where the tide rolls in and out. I've often gazed with pleasure on the strand at far Cuaisin And the noisy Poll s Glugan that echoes Beencuneen.
