   Scicily Sage sat in a cage. All her children died of age and herself kept living hale and hearty.

   It stands by the road, it belongs to the gate,
   It holds my door, and for me it does wait,
   Sometimes tis iron and sometimes tis wood,
   To me it brings knowledge both evil and good.

   I see it and you cannot see it though it is nearer to you than to me.
