The people used also have potato cakes. They used first get potatoes and hang them over the fire to boil. When they used to be boiled they used to peel them and bruise them up fine. They used then put flour through the potatoes and they used to put milk in it. The people used to have stampy also. They used first get a grater and then they used to get the potatoes and put them into a cloth and bruise the water of them. They used then wet it with milk or cream. Then they used to put it in the griddle to bake. When they first started to grow the wheat they used to grind it in querns for their bread.
