  1. There is a story told about a fort in the neighbourhood of Glenalappa. The old woman who lived near it had one cow that used to graze in the fort. If she had not her cow milked every evening before six o'clock she wouldn't have any milk. She went out one evening and she saw two fairies milking her cow one at each side of her into two buckets. Next evening she milked her cow at five o'clock. That night the two fairies came knocking at the door and crying around her house looking for a drop of milk.
