  1. Myles Thornton of Kilbaha went up to the fort in Knockanure cutting scallops and he got a sore hand. He was for months coming to the doctor and it was not getting better.
    At length he went to the priest and the priest did something for it that cured it. He blamed the fort for making it sore.
