  1. One night a man heard cows inside in a garden of oats he had near the house. He got up to drive out the cows. He said he would follow them until he would find the owner of them. The cows went along until they came to the first fort. Then they turned up and went into the fort.
The next day when he looked at the garden there was no sign of cows in it.
