  1. Once upon a time there lived a man and he was a caretaker for a rich man. They lived near a fort. One morning as he was driving the cows he had to go round the fort for them. He saw a man and a woman coming out of the fort and they rising a tub of clothes between them. She wore a check suit. Then they faced the well and washed the clothes in it. Then they came back again and the man was watching the whole time what they were doing. That was the well that all the people there around used to use the water of it. He did not tell the people what he had seen that morning. Then next morning he went for the cows and he saw a man coming out of the fort with a pair of togs and he washing them in the well. Then he told the people
