  1. Rope-Making
In olden days a good deal of rope-making was carried on. It is still carried on in some parts of my district. The things necessary are a twister, hay and two men.
One man holds the twister and twists the hay and the other man keeps letting the hay into the twister. The twisted hay is then used for “sugans” for chairs and ropes for winds of hay.
