  1. Long ago there lived a man by the name of Dan Cronin. He used to be carting oats and butter to Cork. One night as he was travelling he met a man who bought his load. "Down there to that light below" said the man. He went down and when he arrive there the man came out to unload the oats. When it was unloaded they invited him in. All sorts of dance and music were going on inside. When he asked a young girl where he was she told him it was an enchanted fort.
    Next day his horse landed home and Dan dead in the cart. He was waked and buired. After a year the priest advised his wife to
