  1. There is a big steep hill on my way home and its name is Gleann Cluaisaig. Gleann Cluaisaig got its name from Cromwell's garrison of soldiers. Cromwell's soldiers used to be riding up and down there on horses and one soldier knocked off another soldier's ear and that hill was called Gleann Cluaisaig.
    It is said that Cromwell's soldiers used to live there too long ago beside the fort.
