  1. There are a great many domestic animals at home; cows, horses, calves, sheep, dogs, cats, ponies, hens, ducks and chickens. All the cows at home have names; Ruby, Primrose, Strawberry, Carnation, Lady, Beauty, Daisy, Bell, Cherry, Reddy, Pansy, Bunty, Heriford, Blackpuss, Princess, Countess, Blackie, Bluey and Number One.
You say "how how" to the cows and calves when driving them in or out of a field. The cowhouse is a long slated house. It is called a stall. The cows are tied by bows aroud the neck they are only tied by the neck and by the horns.
Branches are often hung in the stall to bring luck on the stock.
We have two horses at home their names are Molly and Bob. You say go on to the horses when you are driving them.
