    Here is a list of the cures I have heard for various ailments
    For boils - a poultice of soap and ground sugar
    For a sting from a nettle - Rub a dock-leaf to it immediately
    For a toothache - Put pepper into the tooth
    For poison - Swallow a lump of butter
    For warts - Bury a piece of fat meat in the dung
    For a pain in the side - kneel on the ground, spit under a stone and bless yourself
    For a headache - Put a spoon of soda into boiling water and drink it
    To stop bleeding - Place a clean
