    St Bat's Well
St Bat's well was one time in Mac Elligott's land, in Coolard. One dry Summer some woman used the water to wash clothes. The well dried up and removed to Tom Dowlings land, where it is now. It is also said that another woman used it to boil potatoes and if they were down since, they would not boil.
